Lombachalp
Mysti moorlands, gentle waters and wild flowers shape the landscape around the Lombach- alp. Together with Sörenberg it belongs to one of the largest moorland landscapes of Switzerland. It is part of the national importance nature area Hohgant Seefeld. The area between Augstmatthorn and Hohgant is excellent as Important Bird AREA (IBA) and thus a bird protected area with international meaning. The swampland and mountain area Lombachalp is a good place to watch wild animals.
