Triftglacier
The Trift Glacier (German: Triftgletscher) is a 5 km long glacier (2005) situated in the Haslital in the canton of Berne in Switzerland. In 1973 it had an area of 16.6 km². The Triftgondela drives in only 10 minutes the visitors into a impossante mountain world. The ascent from the mountain station to the hanging rope bridge leads past at alpine nature. Above to be arrived the knees with to commit the hanging rope bridge with a length of 102 meters already somewhat more softly. At a value of 70 meters one crosses the Gletscherbach. The area is also ideal starting point for high-alpine mountain tours.
